A stunning moonstone ring from the Art Nouveau (ca1900) era! This lovely?piece is crafted in platinum and 14kt rose gold, and has a large oval cabochon moonstone resting at its center. The bezel-set moonstone displays an alluring translucent quality?with soft flashes of light blue that catch in the light. The mixed metals setting?is simple yet beautiful, featuring pillar-style platinum shoulders?and a rosy gold wire framework. A simple stacked wire band in the back completes the stylish design, which is stamped "585" inside. A very attractive ring, it would be perfect for everyday wear and would make a special addition to any collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 4.75, but could easily be re-sized. The front of the ring (where the moonstone rests) measures approximately?3/4" tall and?slightly?more than 1/2" wide. When worn, the ring rests approximately 1/2" above the finger.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the?platinum and gold setting or to the moonstone, which is intact and securely set.
